UVA is an excellent university, but it does not have a comparable dedicated undergraduate hotel management school.

UVA only becomes the more sensible route if you are not actually committed to hospitality and instead want a broader path that could lead into consulting, finance, or general business while keeping hotels as one possible interest. For someone who already knows hotel management is the goal, Cornell lines up much more directly with that career.
