Which has better study abroad opportunities: UC San Diego or Boston University?

UC San Diego is an excellent fit for a student who wants access to the wider University of California education-abroad system and more flexibility in choosing a destination or academic format. For a full semester overseas with extensive advising and a broad menu of structured, BU-operated programs, Boston University has the edge. For a student drawn to the UC system and the chance to use UCEAP’s university-based programs, UC San Diego may offer the more practical route.
