The scale matters: a very large student body, a massive stadium, major tailgating, and a city-campus environment make game days feel loud, expansive, and hard to avoid even if you are not deeply invested. School spirit is very visible through chants, apparel, watch parties, and the general social calendar, especially in the fall.

Notre Dame has extremely strong school spirit too, but it often comes across as more unified and ritual-heavy than sheer volume-driven.
