Beaver Stadium is enormous, the student section is famous for its size and noise, and White Out-type environments have a reputation for being overwhelming in the best way for students who want a loud, high-energy scene. The atmosphere around campus also feels very concentrated because State College revolves so heavily around Penn State on football weekends.

At Notre Dame, the atmosphere is memorable for different reasons. The campus setting, the walk to the stadium, the band, the Basilica, and the long-standing traditions create a more iconic and almost ceremonial feel.
