Its Khoury College is a major, highly visible computing school, and the university has invested heavily in CS across multiple campuses, research areas, and employer partnerships. For a student who wants internships, applied experience, and a strong pipeline into software roles, that setup is a real advantage.

Case Western’s CS program is respected and rigorous, especially for students who want a classic mid-sized research university experience. You may find it easier there to build relationships with professors, get into research earlier, and avoid some of the intensity that comes with Northeastern’s very large CS population.

For overall opportunities, Northeastern is usually seen as the stronger option in CS because of co-op, employer access, and the scale of its computing ecosystem. Case Western becomes more compelling if you prefer smaller classes, closer faculty interaction, and a less corporate-feeling path through college.
