When do University of Cincinnati BS/MD program decisions come out?
I recently applied to the University of Cincinnati's BS/MD program and I've tried searching everywhere for when they release decisions. I found a bunch of conflicting info on Reddit and nothing official on the UC website.
Is there an exact date they usually send out acceptance emails or letters for the BS/MD applicants? I’m feeling really anxious since it’s my top choice and I just want to be ready for whatever comes next. If anyone who went through this before could share their timeline or experience with decision notifications, that would help a lot!

The University of Cincinnati’s Connections BS/MD program typically notifies applicants of admission decisions in early to mid-March. While the exact date can vary each year, notifications historically have gone out anywhere from the first week of March to around March 15th. Occasionally, the timeline can shift a little depending on how the application cycle is progressing, but March is a consistent expectation based on past applicant experiences.
Most years, applicants receive their results via email, but it’s a good idea to keep checking your application portal regularly as well. For example, some students in previous years reported receiving an acceptance email late on a Friday afternoon in early March, while others saw updates posted to their online portal just before they got an email. Cincinnati won’t usually publish an official decision release date for the BS/MD program, since the applicant cohort is so small and some students may receive answers a bit earlier depending on (among other factors) how the interview rounds go.
If you were invited for the interview stage and have completed it, you’re likely right in that anxious waiting period. It’s completely normal to feel nervous, but rest assured you’ll likely hear back by mid-March at the latest. One thing you can do in the meantime is to keep an eye on your portal, while also setting limits for how often you are checking it per day, and making sure you have other activities to engage your interest during this waiting time. And remember, you can always reach out to Cincinnati's admissions team directly for clarification if you have specific concerns.
Best of luck with your decision—you’re almost at the finish line!
