USC is still excellent, but its advantage is a little different. USC alumni are famously supportive too.

Another differentiator is undergraduate experience. For pure alumni willingness to go out of their way for fellow grads, Notre Dame has the edge. For reaching specific industries tied closely to Southern California, USC can be just as valuable or even better in practice.
