Does the University of Vermont offer a nursing major?

I’m a high school student looking at colleges and UVM is on my list. I want to know whether the University of Vermont has a nursing major or nursing program for undergraduates.

I’m trying to figure out if it’s a possible option for someone who wants to study nursing there.

Yes. The University of Vermont does offer an undergraduate nursing program through the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Students can pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and UVM also has strong health sciences resources that support clinical training and coursework.

For a high school student, that means nursing is a real option there, not just a minor or pre-health track. UVM is especially known for connecting students to hands-on learning in the Burlington area and through its ties to the University of Vermont Medical Center. The program is structured for students who want direct preparation for RN licensure after graduation.
