Does Arizona State University have an early action deadline?

I’m a high school senior trying to plan out my college application timeline, and I keep seeing different terms like early action, priority, and rolling admission.

I’m specifically trying to figure out whether ASU actually has an early action deadline, or if I’m mixing it up with a different type of deadline.

ASU does not use a traditional Early Action program in the same way many private colleges do. Instead, Arizona State University primarily uses rolling admission, which means applications are reviewed as they are completed and submitted.

What often causes confusion is ASU’s priority dates. Those are important deadlines tied to things like merit scholarships, financial aid consideration, and sometimes housing or honors opportunities. So if you are seeing an earlier date, it is usually a priority deadline rather than an Early Action deadline.
