How does on-campus housing work at Fordham for first-year students?

I'm a junior looking at Fordham, and housing is a pretty big factor for me since I would most likely be living on campus. I'm trying to understand what the overall first-year housing situation is like there and how it usually works.

I mean things like whether most freshmen live in dorms, how room assignments generally work, and what campus housing is actually like day to day.

Lincoln Center also houses first-year students, but it is more vertically residential and feels more city-based since it is in Manhattan.

First-year students are typically placed in traditional residence halls rather than apartment-style housing. That usually means double rooms, some triples depending on space, shared bathrooms in many buildings, and a meal plan tied to living on campus.

Day to day, first-year housing at Fordham is fairly structured compared with upperclass housing. There are resident assistants, community standards, and organized events, so it tends to be social and fairly easy to meet people early on. At Rose Hill especially, the residential setup is often described as more traditional and campus-centered, while Lincoln Center feels more compact and integrated into the city.
