Brown vs. Princeton for undergraduate physics: Which offers more flexibility to explore other academic interests?

I’m a high school senior deciding between Brown and Princeton for physics. I’m interested in taking courses outside physics and possibly combining physics with another field, so I want to understand how flexible each university’s undergraduate physics program is.

Brown offers more day-to-day flexibility for a physics student who wants to range widely across other subjects. For pure curricular freedom and the easiest path to a self-designed physics-plus-another-field program, Brown has the clearer advantage. Princeton still supports exploration, but it rewards a student who values defined academic structure and is comfortable fitting outside interests around a demanding physics plan.
