UCL places you in central London, with access to UK employers, public institutions, cultural organizations, and a student body drawn heavily from outside the UK.

Academic pacing also differs. Many UCL taught master’s degrees are intensive one-year programs, which can lower living costs and get you into the workforce sooner but leave less time for internships, exploration, or changing direction. USC graduate programs more often follow the longer U.S. model, with more electives, campus involvement, and time to develop relationships with faculty and recruiters.
