At UC San Diego, you can build an excellent analytics-oriented education, but the most relevant undergraduate routes are typically adjacent fields such as data science, economics, mathematics, or business economics. That can be a particularly strong option for a student who wants deeper technical training in programming, statistics, machine learning, or data engineering, but it takes more intentional course planning to maintain the business side of analytics.
