What academic programs does Princeton offer for undergraduates?
I'm a high school junior trying to get a clearer sense of Princeton academically before I decide whether it belongs on my college list.
I know it has a strong overall reputation, but I want to understand what undergraduate majors, minors, certificates, and interdisciplinary options are actually available.

Princeton offers a pretty broad undergraduate curriculum, though it is more focused on the liberal arts than a giant university with lots of preprofessional majors. Undergraduates can pursue bachelor’s degrees through two divisions: the A.B. and the B.S.E., which is Princeton’s engineering degree.
For A.B. students, majors span the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and the arts. Common options include Economics, Politics, History, English, Public and International Affairs, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Religion, Art and Archaeology, Music, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Neuroscience.
For B.S.E. students, major options include Chemical and Biological Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Princeton also has architecture through the School of Architecture, which is a distinctive undergraduate option.
Beyond majors, Princeton offers minors through its certificate programs. These let students add a focused secondary area of study without doing a full second major. Certificate options include areas like Applied and Computational Mathematics, Applications of Computing, Cognitive Science, Statistics and Machine Learning, Entrepreneurship, European Cultural Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Environmental Studies, Global Health and Health Policy, Latino Studies, East Asian Studies, African Studies, American Studies, Urban Studies, Values and Public Life, and many language and regional studies programs.
Interdisciplinary study is one of Princeton’s strengths. Programs such as Neuroscience, African American Studies, American Studies, East Asian Studies, Environmental Studies, European Cultural Studies, and Global Health naturally combine multiple fields.
