For medical-school preparation alone, Case Western is the more advantageous choice because of its integrated academic medical ecosystem, research access, and nearby clinical settings. ASU is the stronger decision when it would substantially reduce undergraduate debt or when you expect to thrive in a larger university and are prepared to actively seek research, clinical work, and advising; minimizing debt is especially valuable before the cost of medical school.
