Emory can still provide all the core science preparation, but you would need to build veterinary exposure more independently through Atlanta organizations.

Both schools can cover the prerequisites commonly expected by veterinary programs: biology, general and organic chemistry, physics, biochemistry, mathematics or statistics, and often additional biology coursework. Veterinary applicants also need substantial hands-on animal and veterinary experience, strong science grades, recommendations, and evidence that they understand the profession.
