For a student who wants to build software while in college, Georgia Tech can feel more startup-immersive day to day. CREATE-X is especially valuable because it is designed around turning student ideas into ventures, and Atlanta provides more nearby opportunities to meet founders, operators, accelerators, and potential early customers. Georgia Tech’s computing programs are also highly rigorous, though managing a demanding technical schedule alongside a startup requires strong time management.
