Is Florida or Iowa better for starting a business career?

The University of Iowa may be a better match for a student who values a more defined Midwestern recruiting network and is interested in fields such as accounting, finance, insurance, analytics, or corporate operations. Tippie College of Business has longstanding connections with employers in Iowa and the broader Midwest, and Iowa City’s campus environment can feel more cohesive and relationship-driven than a large statewide market. Neither school guarantees a job solely because of its location. For business careers, internships, campus recruiting participation, leadership experience, and alumni networking will matter substantially.
