Choose based on where you can earn excellent grades in a rigorous major you genuinely enjoy and develop close faculty relationships. Vanderbilt may be the better fit if you want a smaller campus community and Nashville-based opportunities; UVA may be the stronger choice if you value a larger academic ecosystem and a campus more closely integrated with a prominent law school. Cost and personal fit should break the tie.
