How do student organizations compare at the University of Georgia and NC State?

For a student whose priority is quickly finding a socially active campus community and regularly participating in organizations, the University of Georgia has the edge. Athens is a concentrated college town, so student groups, performances, service events, Greek life, recreation, and campus traditions tend to be highly visible and easy to encounter outside class. Still, students who attend organization fairs, try a few meetings early, and return consistently can build a real community at either school.
