Still, students seeking highly specialized upper-level CS options or a dense on-campus tech culture may need to be more proactive in finding opportunities.

Emory is worth choosing if its smaller environment, interdisciplinary priorities, personal fit, or financial package matters enough to outweigh Stanford’s substantial advantage in CS resources and industry access.
