Is Vanderbilt or the University of Michigan better for a career in business?

For a student who already knows they want a business career, the University of Michigan has the clearer undergraduate advantage because the Ross School of Business offers a dedicated BBA curriculum, structured recruiting, and a business-specific peer network. Vanderbilt is excellent academically and can lead to the same fields, but it does not offer an undergraduate business major in the same direct way.

Vanderbilt’s network is smaller but often notably engaged. For someone seeking the most defined on-campus path into traditional business recruiting, Michigan, particularly Ross, provides the more purpose-built platform.
