Compare the actual net cost carefully, not just the sticker price. A significant price difference matters, especially because political science careers often lead to graduate school, fellowships, or comparatively modestly paid early public-service roles. Also visit with a specific eye toward whether you prefer Georgetown’s contained Hilltop campus and academically driven atmosphere or Maryland’s larger, more independent campus culture.
