Penn State’s University Park campus is famous for all-in school pride, especially around football weekends, THON, and traditions that pull huge parts of the student body together. Florida State also has intense spirit, but the vibe is a little more spread between campus events, Greek life, athletics, and the surrounding college-town nightlife.

If your question is strictly about which school feels more collectively invested in the school itself, Penn State probably has the edge. University Park is its own environment, so students are more likely to rally around shared rituals, campus events, and a very visible “we are” identity.
