If your target is New York, Boston, or Connecticut-area finance roles, UConn can be very practical.

If the question is which school is the stronger pick in the abstract for finance, I would lean toward the University of Florida. Its business reputation is a bit more established nationally, and for many students that translates into a wider set of opportunities rather than a more regionally concentrated pipeline.
