Which is better for studying public health, the University of Florida or Emory University?

Emory students can build public-health coursework into their undergraduate studies while drawing on a campus culture where epidemiology, global health, health policy, and community health are central academic strengths. The setting also creates relevant possibilities for research, speakers, internships, and service work.

Emory’s main advantage is access to a large, nationally prominent public-health ecosystem. Rollins is a graduate school, so undergraduates should not assume they will receive the same access as MPH students, but its faculty, events, research centers, and public-health focus can still make the subject feel present across campus. Atlanta is especially valuable for students interested in infectious disease, health equity, nonprofit work, or public policy.

UF remains a credible choice, particularly for a Florida resident or someone who wants a large public university experience.
