It also has a strong reputation in the life sciences and many peers pursuing medicine, which can create both motivation and opportunity.

BU fits the student who wants a dense, resource-rich pre-med environment and is ready for a faster, more demanding atmosphere. As an undergrad there, you are in a city packed with clinical exposure, public health organizations, biotech, and research settings, which matters because med school applicants need sustained science work, service, and often some form of research.
