Boston University gives you much better day-to-day access to Boston. BU is woven directly into the city along Commonwealth Avenue, with MBTA Green Line stops on or next to campus, so restaurants, internships, concerts, shops, and neighborhoods are part of ordinary student life rather than something you plan a separate trip around.

At BU, “going into Boston” often just means walking outside or hopping on the T for a few stops. You can get to places like Fenway, Back Bay, Kenmore, and downtown without much effort, and that makes spontaneous city time realistic between classes or on weeknights. If easy access to urban energy is a priority, BU clearly feels more connected.

Wellesley’s campus is beautiful and much more residential, but it does not offer the same immediate city access.
