That can matter a lot for law school applications, since detailed letters of recommendation and sustained mentorship are valuable. Lehigh can also be appealing if you want flexibility to combine law-related interests with business, economics, or interdisciplinary work in a somewhat less intense spotlight.

If the question is which school offers the stronger platform for law school preparation on paper, I would lean Notre Dame because of its broader national pull, deeper alumni reach, and established pre-professional culture. But if you believe you will thrive more personally and academically at Lehigh, that can easily outweigh the branding edge, since law school admissions rewards performance far more than the college name alone.
