UCF makes more sense for someone who likes warmth but does not necessarily want extreme desert heat. Orlando stays fairly warm for much of the year, but it is humid, and afternoon storms are common in parts of the school year. Winters are still mild by national standards, though they feel more variable than at ASU, and there are occasional cooler stretches.

The biggest difference is not just temperature but the kind of warmth. ASU is hotter and drier, while UCF is warm and humid. For a student who mainly wants a campus that feels warm most consistently across the school year, ASU has the edge.
