Clemson vs Florida for biochemistry: which is better for undergrad students interested in research and pre-med?

I’m trying to decide between Clemson and Florida for biochemistry, and I’m mostly interested in research opportunities and how well the major prepares you if you’re thinking about pre-med.

I know both schools are strong overall, but I’m having trouble telling which one would be the better fit for a biochemistry student who wants a solid science foundation and chances to get involved in labs as an undergrad.
