In Florida, many campuses benefit from dense residential life, big sports culture, and warm weather that keeps students outside and active most of the year. In Arizona, you can absolutely find a lively scene, especially at large universities, but the social experience can depend more on the specific campus layout and how many students go home, work off campus, or spread out into the surrounding city.

If campus life is the main factor, Florida usually has the edge overall. So if you are choosing based on the broadest statewide vibe, Florida is more likely to deliver the fuller traditional college-life experience. Arizona can still be a great choice, especially if you like a more flexible, city-connected social scene, but for consistent weekend activity and a stronger all-in campus atmosphere, Florida tends to come out ahead.
