If the question is simply which one feels more fun socially to most students, Tulane usually has the edge. Its culture is known for being lively, extroverted, and heavily shaped by New Orleans, where music, festivals, food, and off-campus social life are part of everyday student experience. People often choose Tulane partly because they want that energetic atmosphere, so the social vibe can feel more immediate and easier to tap into.

Fordham is social too, but in a different way. The fun is less likely to feel concentrated in one campus scene because students have more varied routines and social circles, and New York can make the experience feel more independent. Some students love that freedom, but others feel it takes more initiative to build a consistent weekend social life compared with a place like Tulane.

For making friends, both can work well, but Tulane more often gets described as easier socially right away. Fordham can be warm and friendly, especially through dorms, clubs, and freshman activities, yet it may not feel as uniformly high-energy.
