Which is better for pre-law: Michigan State or Notre Dame?

For a student focused on building the strongest pre-law profile, Notre Dame usually has the edge. It has a very strong national academic reputation, a well-known advising structure for students aiming at law school, and an undergraduate environment where writing-intensive humanities and social science programs are especially prominent. Those things can matter when you are trying to put together a competitive law school application built on grades, rigorous coursework, recommendations, and clear intellectual direction.
