UC Berkeley or Columbia: which is better for undergraduate science research?
I’m trying to decide between UC Berkeley and Columbia, and I care a lot about getting involved in science research as an undergrad. I’m interested in the kind of school where it’s realistic to find research opportunities early and build strong experience in a lab or project.
I know both schools are well known academically, but I’m having trouble understanding which one is generally better for science research opportunities for students.
