Students who get energy from being around lots of people, major school spirit, and a broader social environment often find UCLA exciting and rewarding, though the size and bureaucracy can sometimes make it feel less personal.

Evanston is calmer and more self-contained than LA, and many undergrads like that campus traditions, student groups, and residential life create a strong sense of belonging.
