Tufts or Boston College: which has better campus life?

BC has a stronger rah-rah campus feel, more visible school spirit, and a clearer center of student life on campus. Tufts is active too, but the social scene is often more decentralized, more quirky, and a bit less defined by one dominant campus culture.

For day-to-day campus life, BC often feels more cohesive. Its campus is physically unified, a lot of students stay engaged on campus, and athletics, traditions, and weekend events can create a stronger shared rhythm. Students who want a classic residential experience, where it is easy to run into people and feel part of a larger school culture, often find BC more naturally social.

Tufts has plenty going on, but the vibe is different. Students often describe it as intellectually engaged, creative, and slightly less polished in a good way.
