Which is better for computer science, Adelphi or the University of Maryland?

For computer science, the University of Maryland is the much stronger option in overall reputation, depth of the program, and access to opportunities. Maryland has a well-established CS department, a larger technical ecosystem, and strong connections to government, research, and industry because of its location near Washington, DC. If your main question is which school is more widely recognized for CS and likely to offer a broader experience in that major, Maryland is the clearer answer.

Maryland makes the most sense for a student who wants a bigger, more rigorous CS environment with lots of specialized coursework, research labs, student tech organizations, and recruiting activity.
