Texas A&M’s advantage is breadth and depth. It has a very large College of Engineering, major employer visibility, extensive research opportunities, and one of the strongest alumni networks in the country. That matters for internships, specialized interests, and job placement, especially if you are still exploring fields within engineering or want the backing of a very recognizable engineering brand.

One important undergraduate factor at Texas A&M is the first-year engineering process and entry-to-a-major system.
