Cornell vs. Stevens for computer science: which is better for undergraduate CS?
I’m trying to decide between Cornell and Stevens for computer science, and I keep seeing people recommend both for different reasons. I know Cornell is a lot more selective and Stevens is smaller and more engineering-focused, but I’m not sure how that translates to the actual undergrad CS experience.

If cost is reasonably comparable, I would pick Cornell for undergraduate CS without much hesitation. Stevens becomes the more compelling choice mainly if it is meaningfully cheaper, if you strongly prefer a smaller and more structured environment, or if you know you would thrive better in that kind of setting than in Cornell’s larger, more expansive CS world.
