Which is better for computer science, Cornell or UC Berkeley?
I’m trying to compare Cornell and UC Berkeley for computer science and keep seeing different opinions online. Both seem strong, but I’m mainly wondering which one is generally considered better for CS and why.

Many students are drawn to Cornell because it can offer more of a traditional residential-campus experience while still sending graduates to the same major tech companies, startups, and graduate programs.
In terms of job opportunities, neither school will hold you back. Berkeley may have a slight advantage in sheer proximity to Bay Area companies and startup culture, while Cornell offers a powerful alumni network and excellent recruiting of its own. For school name in CS circles, Berkeley often carries a bit more immediate weight, but Cornell is absolutely in the same top conversation.
