Arizona State vs Trinity College for a liberal arts feel: which campus is better for that atmosphere?

Trinity College has the much clearer liberal arts atmosphere. It is a small residential college built around close professor access, discussion-based classes, and a campus culture where undergraduates are the center of academic life. ASU can absolutely offer strong academics and some smaller honors-style experiences, but its day-to-day feel is still that of a very large public research university.

Classroom experience is the biggest divider. At Trinity, small seminars and direct faculty interaction are part of the normal undergraduate experience, not something you have to seek out through a special college or niche program. At ASU, you can find smaller communities, especially in Barrett or certain departments, but the overall system is large, multi-campus, and less consistently intimate.
