Is UVA or NC State better for a business major?

If you are comparing business programs specifically, UVA has the edge in prestige and national visibility. McIntire is one of the best-known undergraduate business options in the country, and that reputation tends to matter for internships and first-job recruiting, especially in finance and consulting. UVA also benefits from a very strong alumni network and a business program that is central to how many students plan their academic path.

NC State is still a credible business option, but it is usually not viewed at the same level as UVA for pure business reputation.
