Austin also gives UT a more constant sense of energy during ordinary weeks, not just during big campus moments.

UT sits right next to downtown Austin, with live music, coffee shops, restaurants, festivals, and outdoor spots close by, so students often move easily between campus life and city life. Ohio State has plenty happening in and around campus too, especially in the Short North and other parts of Columbus, but the connection between campus and city usually feels a bit less immediate than UT’s.
