Carnegie Mellon or Princeton for software engineering: which is better for an undergrad who wants to work in software engineering after college?

I'm trying to choose between Carnegie Mellon and Princeton, and my main goal is to become a software engineer after college. Both seem strong, but I keep seeing different opinions about which one gives better preparation for the field.

I'm not looking for rankings in general, just which school would be the better fit for someone focused on software engineering as an undergraduate.

For an undergraduate whose clearest goal is to work in software engineering right after college, Carnegie Mellon has the edge. Its computer science and engineering ecosystem is unusually deep at the undergraduate level, the culture is heavily oriented toward building software, and employers recruit there very directly for technical roles.
