Is Clemson or Georgia Tech better for computer science?

Georgia Tech is one of the best-known schools in the country for computing, and that matters in recruiting. The CS curriculum is also larger and more specialized, so students usually have more options in areas like systems, AI, theory, cybersecurity, devices, and human-computer interaction.

Clemson can still set you up well for software jobs, especially if you are proactive about projects, internships, and networking. It often appeals to students who want a more traditional campus feel, big school spirit, and a less intense academic atmosphere than Tech. For some students, that leads to a better college experience and stronger grades, which can matter too.

But if the question is which school is stronger overall for computer science, the answer is Georgia Tech.
