UF is very credible for entrepreneurship too, especially if you want a bigger university experience and a wider range of academic options. Between the Warrington College of Business, innovation-focused programming, startup competitions, and the broader momentum around entrepreneurship in Florida, you can build serious experience there. UF may also give you more flexibility if your interests shift between business, engineering, and other fields, which often happens for students who end up starting companies.

If the question is which school is better specifically for entrepreneurship, Santa Clara has the edge because of its location and startup network. If the question is which gives you the best overall value while still supporting entrepreneurship very well, UF becomes much more compelling.
