What academic programs are available for undergraduates at the University of Wisconsin?

I’m looking at Wisconsin and trying to get a better sense of what kinds of academic programs undergraduates can actually study there. I’m still deciding what major area fits me best, so I want to understand the range of options before I start narrowing things down.

I’m mainly trying to figure out what the school offers for undergrads in a general sense.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison offers a very broad range of undergraduate academic programs, including majors across the liberal arts and sciences, engineering, business, agriculture and life sciences, education, nursing, and fine arts. The university is especially known for strength in areas like biology, economics, psychology, political science, engineering, computer science, and journalism.

If you are still deciding, Wisconsin also has flexible options that let undergraduates mix interests, such as double majors, minors, and certificates. The School of Business, College of Engineering, School of Nursing, and the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences are other major undergraduate divisions with their own programs and requirements.

There are also pre-professional paths for students interested in medicine, law, pharmacy, or other graduate study, plus interdisciplinary programs that combine multiple fields.
