Does Emory University meet full demonstrated financial need?
I’m trying to figure out whether Emory is realistically affordable for my family if I get in. I keep seeing schools say they “meet full need,” but I’m not totally sure what that means in practice.
I’m a junior starting my college list, and I want to know if Emory actually covers full demonstrated financial need based on its own calculations.

Yes.
The important catch is that “full demonstrated need” means full need as Emory defines it, not necessarily what your family feels it can afford. A school may count home equity, business value, non-custodial parent information if applicable, or other assets differently than families expect, so the net price can still feel high even at a school that meets full need.
The best next step is to run Emory’s Net Price Calculator on its financial aid website with your family’s real income and asset information. That will give you a much more realistic estimate than the “meets full need” label by itself.
