What is the student vibe like at Colgate University?

Colgate’s student vibe is usually described as social, polished, outdoorsy, and pretty involved. Day to day, students tend to be friendly and outgoing rather than academically cutthroat, but it is still a high-achieving student body, so people take classes seriously.

The campus culture leans residential and community-oriented because Colgate is in a small town and a lot of student life happens on campus.
